Protecting the bodywork does not necessarily have to be long or technical. The Shine Hydrocoat was developed to offer a simple, fast, and effective solution, accessible to everyone. It is applied directly onto a still-wet surface, just after washing, then rinsed off with clean water. In a few moments, the protection sets in to provide a durable protection lasting about 3 months.
Versatile, the hydrocoat can be used on various surfaces such as the bodywork, windows, plastics, and wheels.

Its formula creates a hydrophobic layer that repels water, limits the adhesion of dirt, and greatly facilitates drying. The water beads up immediately, which reduces marks and makes maintenance quicker during subsequent washes. It is an ideal solution for those who want to protect their vehicle without going through a more demanding wax or ceramic.

The Shine Hydrocoat is perfectly suited for regular maintenance, saving time at the wash station, or as a complement to an existing protection. It provides a visible water-repellent effect and a light protection, without requiring specific equipment or advanced technique.

Used correctly, it helps keep the bodywork cleaner, easier to dry, and more pleasant to maintain, wash after wash.

Make sure your vehicle is completely clean and still wet.
Spray the product onto all surfaces (2 sections at a time).
Rinse after 10 seconds maximum.
Use your high-pressure jet to create a water mist that disperses the applied product.
Continue until you have gone all the way around the vehicle.
Rinse and wipe for an optimal result.

Good to know:
Do not apply the hydrocoat in direct sunlight or on a hot surface. Durability depends on weather conditions and washing frequency.
CAUTION: 1 to 2 sprays per section.
Example: one section = one door, one wing, etc.
A 450ml container can treat approximately 6 vehicles.

Should the vehicle be dried after the first use of the Hydrocoat?

Yes. Even if the product appears to be perfectly rinsed and is no longer visible, the Shine Hydrocoat remains a concentrated product. Residues can remain on the bodywork and, without drying, they can crystallise as they dry naturally, which can cause marks or streaks.

During the first use, it is strongly recommended to dry the vehicle carefully after application and rinsing. This step removes any residual excess and prevents the appearance of potential marks. Once the protection is well established, maintenance and drying then become simpler and quicker.

What is the difference between a hydrocoat, a wax, and a ceramic?
