After a trip, especially in summer or on the open road, insects quickly splatter and become embedded on the bodywork, bumpers, mirrors, lights and windshield. These residues are often difficult to remove with a standard wash and, if rubbed dry, can cause micro-scratches or damage the surfaces.

This detergent is a powerful bug and dropping remover that eliminates insect residues, even dried ones, present on all surfaces of your vehicle. Its formula works by softening and loosening embedded insects, which allows them to be removed easily, without scrubbing and without harming the paint, the clear coat or sensitive surfaces. Cleaning becomes simpler, faster and far safer.

It is ideal for targeted cleaning after a trip or as a complement to a full wash.

Used regularly and correctly, the Shine Car Bug Remover helps preserve the appearance of the bodywork, prevent residue build-up and make overall vehicle maintenance easier. It can also be used to clean the entire car, particularly on stubborn stains.

Spray the bug remover evenly over the areas to be treated.
Let the product act for 1 to 2 minutes.
Rinse the elements with a high-pressure jet and repeat the operation if necessary.

Good to know: Do not let the product dry. Be careful not to bring the high-pressure jet too close to the bodywork, especially on the front elements, where stone chips can be a weak point for the paint or clear coat. It can also be used with a microfibre; watch out for micro-scratches during washing. Do not apply on a hot surface or in direct sunlight. Do not let the product dry on the surface. Never scrub dry.

Can complementary accessories be used to help loosen insects?

Yes. If a first pass with the Bug Remover is not enough, using a suitable accessory is recommended. In addition to the product, a pass with our microfibre sponge, which has a face specially designed to loosen insects, improves cleaning effectiveness without risking damage to the surfaces. It is important to always work on a damp surface and never scrub dry.

Can it be used on a protected vehicle (wax, sealant, ceramic)?

Yes. Used occasionally and in accordance with the recommendations, the Shine Car Bug Remover does not alter existing protections. However, it is advisable not to multiply unnecessary applications and to always rinse well after use.

Should it be used at every wash?

No. The Shine Car Bug Remover is a targeted cleaning product, to be used only when insects or residues are present. It is not necessary at every wash, but is used when the need arises, particularly after exposed trips.
