Glass surfaces play an essential role in driving comfort and safety. Over time, water, road contaminants and pollution residue adhere to the glass, reducing visibility and complicating maintenance.

Its formula creates a lasting bond with the glass surface, forming an invisible hydrophobic layer. Water gathers into beads and runs off more quickly, particularly from the first few speeds on the road. This phenomenon improves visibility in the rain and reduces the use of the windscreen wipers.

In addition to the beading effect, the ceramic limits the adhesion of dirt such as rain marks, insects or road residue. Cleaning becomes simpler and faster, as contaminants cling less to the protected surface.

Unlike a classic or temporary glass treatment, Shine Glass Ceramic offers superior durability when applied correctly to a clean, degreased surface. The product has a shelf life of 2 years and optimal durability of 4 to 6 months.

This 50ml format will allow you to treat a surface of approximately 10m2 depending on the substrate.

Carefully clean and degrease the glass surface with our IPA before application.
Once your surface is dry and prepared. Apply a few drops of product onto a suitable applicator, then spread evenly over the window in one direction and then the other.
Leave to work for 30 seconds, then wipe off the excess with a clean microfibre.
Leave to dry for 10 to 15 min and remove all remaining residue.
Avoid any contact with water for 4 hours during the polymerisation time.

Good to know: Apply only to a clean, dry and cold surface. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Respect the polymerisation time before exposure to water.

Is this ceramic compatible with all glass surfaces?

Shine Glass Ceramic is compatible with the windscreen, side windows and the rear windscreen when made of glass. It is not intended for transparent plastics, headlights or screens without a prior test.

Does it replace the windscreen wipers or a washer fluid?

No. This ceramic improves water shedding and visibility, but it does not replace windscreen wipers in good condition. It acts as a complement to improve driving comfort.

How long does the ceramic effect last on the windows?

Durability depends on the conditions of use, the mileage and the maintenance. Under normal conditions, the hydrophobic effect can last several months, provided that suitable, non-aggressive maintenance products are used.
