Before applying a protection, the condition of the surface is decisive. Even after a wash or a polish, invisible residue can remain on the bodywork: polishing oils, lubricating agents, greasy marks or residual films. These elements prevent good adhesion of protections and reduce their durability.

The Shine IPA Isopropyl Alcohol was developed to effectively remove this residue. It acts as a finishing degreaser, allowing the surface to be stripped back without damaging it. After application, the bodywork is clean, dry and perfectly prepared to receive a wax, a sealant or a ceramic protection.

This product is particularly recommended after a polishing stage, but also before applying a spray protection or during an occasional reset. It ensures better adhesion of the products applied afterwards and optimises their durability over time.

Accessible to individuals, Shine IPA is an essential tool for those who want to achieve a lasting, professional result without unnecessary complexity.

  1. Spray the Shine IPA Isopropyl Alcohol onto a clean microfibre or directly onto the surface to be treated.
  2. Wipe gently without rubbing excessively in order to remove the residue.
  3. Work on a cool surface, in the shade, until it has fully evaporated.
  4. Turn the microfibre regularly to avoid redepositing contaminants.
    N.B.: Do not apply to a hot surface or in direct sunlight.
    Do not let the product dry without wiping.
    Use only clean, dedicated microfibres.

Can IPA be used in addition to a glass cleaner?
Yes. The Shine IPA Isopropyl Alcohol is perfectly complementary to a glass cleaner. The two products do not have exactly the same role.
A glass cleaner is formulated to remove everyday dirt, dust, rain marks and daily residue, while offering good glide and easy wiping.
IPA, on the other hand, acts as a more technical degreaser. Its chemical composition allows it to effectively dissolve greasy films, fingerprints, nicotine residue or invisible hazes that some glass cleaners may leave behind.
Using IPA as a complement therefore allows you to achieve a perfectly clean surface, free of residual film, particularly on highly exposed windows, screens or glossy surfaces.
