Wheels are one of the most exposed parts of a vehicle. Brake dust, road spray, high heat and repeated washing eventually clog them up and dull their appearance. Without suitable protection, cleaning them quickly becomes a chore.

Shine Wheel Ceramic was developed to meet these specific challenges. It creates a heat-resistant protective barrier that limits the adhesion of brake dust and grime. After application, the wheels stay cleaner for longer, and cleaning them becomes much simpler. It will also give you a superb hydrophobic effect.

This protection also helps preserve the appearance of the wheels over time, by reducing the impact of external stresses and frequent cleaning. It is ideal for drivers who want to protect their wheels effectively without having to deep-clean them after every trip.

Our product offers an average durability of around 3 months.
However, it is very difficult to state a fixed durability, as wheels are surfaces that are particularly exposed to very aggressive contaminants, as well as to cleaning products with sometimes extreme pH levels.

The durability of the product therefore depends directly on the maintenance carried out and how the vehicle is used. The more the vehicle is used and exposed to external stresses, the more the durability of the product will be reduced. Conversely, a vehicle that is used little and maintained with suitable products will extend the effectiveness of the treatment over time.

Good to know: Its coverage will depend on the size in "inches" of your wheels; in the case of a vehicle with 18-inch wheels, 50 ml of product will allow you to treat your vehicle twice. The product keeps for 2 years and has a curing period of 4 hours.

  1. Clean your surface properly, and make sure it has been thoroughly degreased beforehand using our IPA.
  2. Spray the product onto a pad, then apply it to your wheel.
  3. Wait one minute, then buff the surface using a suitable, dry microfibre.
  4. Avoid contact with water for 24 hours.

    Good to know: Do not apply to hot wheels. Do not use in direct sunlight.

Can it be used on wheels that are already protected?
Yes, it is possible, but we recommend removing or degreasing the old protections to ensure good adhesion and optimal durability of the ceramic.
These protections can be removed with a thorough cleaning and a decontamination step. If that is not enough, a polishing step will be necessary.

Can it damage the wheels or their finishes?
No. Used correctly, Shine Wheel Ceramic protects wheels without altering their finish.
