When washing a car, the ability of a mitt to hold dirt is essential in order to preserve the condition of the paint.

The structure of the rasta mitt traps dirt particles deep in the fibres, reducing direct friction against the paintwork. This makes washing safer than with flatter or less absorbent accessories.

This mitt is particularly pleasant to use during a full wash, as it offers a good grip and a high retention capacity for both water and shampoo. It is perfectly suited to regular maintenance, on a vehicle that has been correctly prepared and washed in good conditions.

A 2-in-1 mitt for mixed use:

One side is made from a material specifically suited to windows and to the general washing of the exterior of your vehicle.
The other side is made of fine microfibre strands and is perfect for dusting or wiping, inside and outside the vehicle.

  1. Use the mitt with a well-lubricated bodywork shampoo.
  2. Work on a cold surface, with straight movements and without pressing excessively.
  3. Rinse the mitt regularly in order to remove accumulated contaminants.

    Good to know:
    Never use the mitt dry. Always work on a lubricated surface.
    Do not use on hot paintwork or in direct sunlight.
    Clean the mitt after each use to avoid contamination.

The Shine Rasta Microfibre Wash Mitt is compatible with most painted and clear-coated surfaces, including sensitive ones.

What is the difference with a standard mitt?
The difference lies in the thickness and the rasta structure, which allow better retention of dirt and water, improving both the safety and the comfort of the wash, as well as in its double-sided structure that adapts to different surfaces.

Can it be used on lower areas or wheels?
It is best to keep this mitt for the paintwork. For heavily exposed lower areas or wheels, using a dedicated accessory is recommended in order to avoid any contamination, such as a second mitt or XL or XS wheel brushes for wheel maintenance.
