The cost of a ceramic treatment, a wax, a quick detailer or the like is often very high and requires a lot of time to apply. That is why extending its lifespan is essential. This shampoo was developed to meet the needs of users looking for a product that can clean without damaging surfaces, but also boost the effects of existing protections and increase their lifespan. It combines a high-performing cleaning base with hydrophobic agents specifically selected to promote water run-off on the bodywork.

Recommended for use as foam only to make washing and its action easier, it is a premium product that can be used on all surfaces of the vehicle, in particular paint, glass, plastics, soft tops, wheels and rims. Its dense foam allows a risk-free wash.

During washing, the formula lifts everyday grime, road film, dust and pollution residues without attacking the surfaces. Drying is then faster, simpler and limits the risk of streaks, particularly on large surfaces.

Unlike a classic neutral shampoo, Shine Water-Repellent Shampoo provides a visible functional effect as soon as you rinse. It does not replace a long-lasting protection such as a wax or a ceramic, but it clearly improves washing comfort and the final result.

This shampoo is particularly suited to users who wash their vehicle regularly and want a clean, sharp result without multiplying products. It is very well suited to routine vehicle maintenance.

Dilute the shampoo according to the recommendations below.
Rinse your vehicle beforehand.
Using a foam cannon, apply the product over the entire bodywork.
Wash your vehicle with a 5-finger mitt.
Rinse thoroughly once the entire surface has been treated.

Recommended dilution: in a foam cannon, for 1 L of water, pour in 100 ml of product.

Good to know: wearing gloves is mandatory. For use in a foam cannon only. For an optimal result, we advise drying your vehicle with a drying microfibre. This shampoo is a top-up for your ceramic coatings and sealants (wax, quick detailer, wax, etc.). It will therefore boost their properties and extend them over time. In the case of an untreated vehicle, it will offer a slight water-repellency, but this will be less significant than on an already protected vehicle.

Is this shampoo compatible with all surfaces?

Shine Water-Repellent Shampoo is compatible with most clear-coated paints, clear-coated wheels and painted exterior surfaces. On sensitive substrates such as bare aluminium, anodised, polished or matte paints, it is recommended to carry out a prior test and to favour a neutral shampoo.

Does this product replace a wax or ceramic-type protection?

No. Shine Water-Repellent Shampoo does not replace a dedicated protection such as a wax, a hydrocoat or a ceramic. Its role is to provide an additional water-repellent effect and to make rinsing and drying easier during washing; it acts as a complement.

Can it be used on an unprotected vehicle?

Yes. Shine Water-Repellent Shampoo can be used on an unprotected vehicle. It will provide a visible hydrophobic effect after rinsing, but this will remain limited. The finish and water-repellency will never be comparable to those obtained with a hydrocoat, a wax or a ceramic protection, which are specifically designed to create a real protective barrier.
