During a hand wash, the accessory used plays a key role in preserving the paintwork. An unsuitable mitt can quickly cause micro-scratches.

The microfibre structure of this mitt traps dirt and pulls it away from the surface during the wash. This ability limits direct friction and makes cleaning safer than with a sponge or an ordinary cloth.

Versatile, this mitt is used with a suitable bodywork shampoo and is perfectly suited to regular washing.

Two ways to clean it:

With water after each use.
In the washing machine at 30°C after 4 or 5 washes.
You can use it with the following products:

Degreasing and dewaxing shampoo.
Gloss finish bodywork shampoo.
Bodywork shampoo.

  1. Use the mitt with a shampoo.
  2. Work on a cold surface, with straight movements and without pressing excessively.
  3. Rinse the mitt regularly in order to remove accumulated dirt.

    Good to know:
    Never use the mitt dry. Always work on a lubricated surface.
    Do not use on hot paintwork or in direct sunlight.
    Clean the mitt after each use to avoid contamination.

Is this mitt suitable for every surface?
The Shine Microfibre Wash Mitt is compatible with most painted and clear-coated surfaces. For very sensitive or specific surfaces, it is advisable to test on an inconspicuous area.

What is the difference with a microfibre sponge?
The mitt holds dirt better and gives better control of your movements, which makes washing safer than with a sponge.

Can it be used on wheels?
It can be used on lightly soiled clear-coated wheels. For very dirty wheels, we recommend using an XL or XS wheel brush.
